Intrusive thoughts often seem to pop up out of nowhere and can be very upsetting, and sometimes even disturbing when they do. Also, often when we have intrusive thoughts we can get into a pattern of overthinking those thoughts – what they mean and why were having them in the first place – and this can cause a lot of extra stress and anxiety. None of which are great for our mental health. Here, I teach you some effective skills to help you stop your intrusive thoughts when they show up.
